spending time

I sometimes wish I would take the 5 minutes or so to update my blog DAILY, but it just never seems to happen. I am going to make an effort to keep a "journal-like" commentary for the next few days and see if it works. I am on the internet all the time, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal :)

Xander has been battling a double ear infection. He does pretty good when he's got some Motrin in his system, but as it wears off-watch out! Mr. Cranky is back! He's on antibiotics and for the first time isn't complaining about taking medicine. He is actually proud of himself when he finishes it and says "I did GOOD!" I have been trying to keep Avery away from Xander to prevent the spread of germs and finally after a week of sickness, I figured I would give in to his constant begging to hold her. Almost as soon as he got her in his arms, ACHOO! right on her face. Great, huh?

I have been using my spare time to work on my seminar presentation. In case you don't know this is our last project of pharmacy school. It is an hour long presentation on whatever subject you choose. It is VERY formal and stressful! My title is "Developing an Evidenced-Based Algorithm for Treatment Resistant Depression: A Review of the STAR*D Trial" -quite a mouthful, huh? Anyway, for once I have not waited to the total last minute, but the presentation is March 27th, so it is coming up quickly!

We are going to see Disney on Ice tomorrow with my parents and 3 nieces (ages 4, 6, and 7). It should be a good time-I hope the kids have fun!
