One big development that occurred last week, was as I was preparing to photograph my beautiful son so that I may use my newly acquired ability to digitally scrap to make our 2005 Christmas Card, I wasn't thinking and carrying baby and props downstairs I handed the BABY the camera! OOPS! He accidentally dropped it on the ground and yes, there is no delaying telling the inevitable-it is BROKEN! So, Mark and I faced an urgent dilemma! I have been pining over this outrageously expensive camera lately-not that I am a photography buff or anything (as you can probably tell by recent posts) but my friend Jen takes gorgeous pics and I long to have beautiful (or even semi-beautiful) photos of my son! And if she has that kind of camera-maybe all I need is a camera like that! (NOT TRUE)...so, we splurged and charged the camera and accessories. Mark has informed me that it is part of my birthday present + I have to use my pharmacy job salary to slowly pay it off :) Oh well, it is ours. Here's a pic for those of you who are curious.

So, needless to say, we are reading the manual and playing around with this new toy constantly. I haven't even installed the software yet, so I am not yet able to share with you all of the Xander smiles that I am now able to capture as this camera actually takes a picture once you push the button (unlike our old one that had a 5min delay!!) That is what is impressing the most so far :) But have no fear, soon I will share some new pictures! Hold your pants on! :)
