where do the days go?: so much fun!

I really like working on this blog! I hope everyone is enjoying seeing updates about Xander (and me too!) Today I added a link on the side to see a new short movie of Xander just hanging out at home in his diaper. Also, there is a slideshow of pictures of Xander opening his last birthday gift. It is from Aunt Shanon because she couldn't come to his birthday celebration! Xander loved opening the gift and especially loved the present inside! On his actual birthday, he wasn't able to really enjoy tearing any wrapping paper because he was really cranky (he had a long day) and since the party was outside, we had to hurry before it got dark! But he really loved this one!

Xander had to get his blood drawn for the first time yesterday. The doctor ordered some routine checks on Monday but we didn't have the heart to go after his appointment-he had been through enough for one day! But he did so good with the blood draw. He cried mostly because the nurses were holding him down and as soon as they let go he was pretty mad and he grabbed that band-aid, ripped it off, and threw it on the ground with a vengence! It was pretty funny! He is officially 13 months old now ! We just can't believe how fast the time has gone-he seriously is changing just a bit everyday! He is walking more and more now-I think the record is up to 7 unassisted steps! He gets so proud of himself! Oh, and I forgot to relay his newest measurements for those who don't get to see him often...he is up to 25lbs 12ozs and is 31.5" tall (both in90th percentile) and his head is 19.25" around (95th percentile)! He sure is a big boy! Here are some more pictures of our "little" guy!
